if your aggression is greater that your opponents then the difference between your current aggression level and your oppos level is added to a players tackling skill on the fly each time he makes a tackle, also

in circumstances where TA is equal to AE 

strength then aggression then experience is used to decide the outcome of tackles

I kind of always thought that it would work slightly differently...

....if you go into a tackle more aggressively, then that tackle has more chance of succeeding, and more chance of being a foul if it doesn't succeed.

So, instead of a straight fight between TA and AE, and if equal, going onto other factors - I thought that more aggression, agility and knowledge would increase the TA skill in the first place....with similar factors increasing the AE skill - and THEN compare the two....

The way it's done at the moment (as far as I can see), someone with 9ag can only be tackled by someone with 9ta - is that right?

no, the skills used during the game are calculated from the base skill, as seen on your player skills report, plus or minus a series of bonuses and handicaps, for things like form, morale, club morale, bonuses, disruption, captain, natural aggression and debut etc etc etc. All the adjustments are added or subtracted from the base skill to give the skill a player plays with for the game. During the game your current aggression level is used as a further adjustment to the players skill level.

Thanks for the turn. As discussed on the phone, there seems to have been a slight issue with the NG bonus at Plymouth and Roma with the NG bonus I offered to players being given to each player (rather than shared) - I enjoy winning but each cost me £18million lol.

Know you are going to amend but thought i would flag up on here in case others have experienced the same thing lol...

I made a big mistake this week with the Arsenal team, so I have had to rerun their league game and the amended scoreline is now

scorers were ozil 31 nasri 88
silva 34 fabio 54 walker 65

apologies but this does happen occasionally.

the slightly amended Premiership table now looks like this
