I've started the data entry, but I have to pop out on family business later this morning so I'm expecting the usual schedule to be delayed. Kickoff times to follow later.

Message from Hamburg boss...

Had a lot of offers this week and last week for Xhaka who is now a 99 player and moved to Arsenal in real life as you may well know. I will swap him but he wont be cheap.

I want 97 GK and 97 LB or RB or CB and 97 CF or ST.

conditions no old players ( say over 28 but 29 might be alright at a push )
here in South Africa I can only watch german or english football so I would like english or german players.

none of the offers I have received so far are acceptable so please consider them rejected although Man City did offer me a 99 rated player and two 95 rated players, but I would prefer three 97s as my team needs to compete with Schalke who are just getting better and better.

Congrats to all those managers that progressed to the finals and commiserations to all those that came so close, better luck next time guys.

Half an hour until kickoff...the tension mounts...

Things are very tight in the Premiership with Fulham just edging it at the moment ahead of Charlton, Man City, Arsenal, Watford and Plymouth, and with four games left it could still go to any of these clubs. This week the leaders Fulham visit Newcastle who are desperate for points at the wrong end of the table, Plymouth have some catching up to do at home to Spurs, Watford are also in need of a pick me up away at Birmingham, Arsenal have been there or thereabouts all season and have a massive game this week at second placed Charlton in a match that could decide a lot, while City have the small matter of overcoming a rejuvenated United side in the Manchester derby.

Looks likely that Liverpool and Villa will be joining the elite for next season although Blackburn will be trying hard to dislodge Villa and grab second spot i'm sure. Villa are at home to struggling Sunderland whilst Blackburn travel to Ipswich and Liverpool face a very tough Wolves side.

Juventus and Inter are fighting tooth and nail for the Scudetto and the run in will be vital for both sides, Juve have an easy game this week at home to Lecce and a chance to rack up a decent number of goals if they are in the mood, whilst Inter entertain Parma, who have been under the management of Geoff for awhile now and he came out this week and said "We are going there to get a point don't be under any illusions about that, we are not good enough to win on their ground but we can steal a point". Parma need one point to guarantee safety. Napoli and Roma lead the chasing pack and are within four or five points of top spot and could enhance their title chances considerably if either of the leaders slip up this week.

Am desperately hoping that Arsenals great result in midweek has really taken it out of them.

Can't see Fulham dropping any points today so a win is vital!

Schalke lead the Bundesliga and have a tough game at home this week against Hamburg whilst second placed Bayern entertain cup finalists Stuttgart who have been playing much better in the second half of the season, so things could get very interesting here in Germany this week.

A huge game in Spain sees Barcelona travelling to play the leaders Real Madrid in what is a must win game for Barcelona, they'll be no prizes for dropping points in this game for the second placed team, but with neither manager sending in orders this week it will be down to the assistants.

Tried a slightly different formation for this match - three AMs and an attacking DY with 1 ST - looks like it worked a treat! Be interesting to see if the DY scored against a real decent Berlin side....
