Season defining week for this week, away to Fulham and away to Paris.  Doesn't get much bigger.  A win is needed in the French capital, no other result will do.  A draw at the cottage would be a sensational result, especially due to Lucas and Willian being out.

Welcome to week 18 of the league, with this and four more games to go each result becomes crucial for different reasons, Fulham and Charlton clash at the top of the table with Manchester United fighting valiantly to win every point between now and the end of the season to try and catch Chelsea and save themselves from relegation. Each match brings its own tension.

In the Premiership Charlton have a tough game this week at Fulham but bare a thought also for the chasing pack where Man City play at Chelsea, Watford entertain Leicester and Plymouth travel to Arsenal, all of these teams need points desperately for differing reasons, and I haven't even mentioned Newcastle's game at Tottenham. My favorite game this week will be at the Emirates where Plymouth play their long ball game against Arsenal who are well known for playing with three centre backs and two anchormen.

In the Championship leaders Liverpool must travel to a vastly improved Blackburn and second placed Villa take on newly charged West Brom, James Milner makes his debut for Forest amongst a flurry of swapbids as quite a few managers realise the value of the ageing star, seems like he wont be at Forest for long now.

Serie A sees leaders Inter Milan travel across town for the big derby day game against AC Milan with second placed Juventus away at Cagliari. And in Germany the leaders Schalke have a tough trip to Stuttgart to negotiate with Bayern at Dortmund the game of the week for me here in Germany. Just realised the time, we are nearly readt to kickoff.
