| Ollie home from school. Wilsons are nervously sitting round the kitchen table. |

| transfers have been put on hold for a few hours, I forgot to run all the free tour games, getting to those now, only a mere 205 to run...had to make some changes to the system because the old max was 135, so I had to increase that. |

| Playoff results...
Leicester 2 West Brom 0
Stoke 3 Reading 2
Derby 3 Portsmouth 3 aet pens 2-0
So reality managed Leicester make it back into the Premiership at the first attempt, although they look like being a yoyo club without Rich to steer them along. Stoke make it into the Championship and have a good enough squad to challenge whilst Derby eventually get back to League One and they should be much higher.

| A big influx this week of new faces to the Premiership, some of these new faces are still on trial or awaiting a work permit in the game, so don't forget, you have to send me a scout report if you want the AWP removed, I do normally do the bigger names as I see them play in real life but sometimes the smaller names never get changed, what do you guys do with these players ? |

| Just to confirm a couple of changes for the new season regarding transfers...
1) I've removed the minimum tenure constraint that stopped players from moving clubs until they had been at their current club x number of weeks. A player can now leave the week after he joins.
2) I've tweaked the previous club return constraint, it use to be that a player wouldn't return to one of his previous clubs until he had been away for 40 weeks, now he will return if you played him correctly. So if he is an attitude 1 and you played him in the first11 65% of the time, that is the chance he will return within the 40 week window, after 40 weeks he will return regardless. |

| Makes perfect sense. Is the requirement for attitude 1 players still 80%, keeping them happy morale wise? |

Yes that hasn't changed, but if you only play them 80% of the weeks then that is also the chance of them returning. I should clarify that only affects non-private bids, if you have a player and you want to sell him to another manager then you can, but if you want to use him in some sort of swap deal with the system then the 80% comes into play. |

| Hi Paul,
Thanks for this. Just noticed that, despite being protected from retirement, Pirlo has just been retired from the game. Presuming this is an automatic thing and given he is still first choice for Italy in real life might you please be able to re-instate him?
Thanks
Ben |

| Watched De Bruyne playing for Belgium last night and was very impressed, excited now to see him in a City shirt, should add real threat down our right wing, this kid could be the next true superstar. |

That's not allowed. You can't change your opinion now I've sold him. |

| Just saying .... you have De Bruyne (who I admit isn't terrible) but supported by Hazard, Kompany, Lukaku, Fellaini etc etc and he plays for Belgium who are making a fist of getting out of a qualifying group topped by Gareth Bale's pub team and containing such giants as Israel, Cyprus and Andorra. On the other hand you have Oliver Norwood supported by the likes of Niall McGinn, Stuart Dallas and Chris Baird and his team are comfortably topping a group containing former European champions Greece, Romania and Hungary.
While I believe De Bruyne is going to be one of the world's best I'm just wondering if I can persuade Norwood to come to Villa Park ...... is there any chance I could review him to 99 99? |

| I'm as guilty as anyone, but maybe week 1 is a good time to update all our squad lists?
Think there is only Jamie and Rob that keeps it updated? |

| Good work Phil!
Didn't take you long to build a strong squad did it? Didn't realise how busy you had been.
Next seasons dark horse I reckon... |
