Jamie almost did it with Schalke back in season 22 he won the Pokal Cup and the Champions League Cup but could only finish 2nd in the league. Great effort though in a very competitive league.

Boca are the one Paul!!!!!!  I think there's a quadruple somewhere.

Phil Green came close in his time at Arsenal, winning the Champions Cup, runnersup in the FA Cup but only 5th in the Premiership.

Scott Upton in season 15 with Bayern Munich, league and cup double but only runnersup in the Champions Cup, that was pretty close, then in season 16 he actually achieved it by winning all three trophies with Bayern Munich.

Robert Swaby came close with AC Milan in season 7 winning the Champions Cup then runnersup in the league and the cup, then almost again in season 9 where he did the double but only Champions Cup runnersup, and again in season 16 as Champions Cup runnersup, 2nd place and the Cup, and again in season 17, Champions Cup runnersup and landed the italian double.

Colin Combes was a top manager and he did it with AC Milan in season 20, all three trophies.

so Rob was phenomenally successful at Boca and did the treble three times , yes three times, and one of those times was a quadruple, amazing record.

Always leave the best til last

Rob almost did it in season 23 with Inter Milan as well, Serie A winners, and then runnersup in both the Cup and the Champions Cup.

Dan Furneaux won the Champions Cup and the Premiership in season 12, then almost pulled it off in season 14 by doing the english double but only runnersup in the Champions Cup. 

and Ben came pretty close in season 23 with the Premiership title and runnersup spot in the Champions League.

So some very close calls over the years but not many have actually done it.

this season is the first time the Champions Cup final teams have ever both returned to the final.

Tom has done a nice treble at Nantes as well in season 23 he won the Europa Cup and did the french double, no small task.

And he almost did it with Santos as well before I took over, in season 23 he did the brazilian double and came runnersup in the Copa Libertadores.

Yeah but how many of these managers have the League 2 Championship in their cabinet.....

Always liked Colin, never thought he was that good though, I knew he'd been in it for a few years but guess I knew him when he was losing the bug while at Chelsea.

I used to take Colin with me to Stamford Bridge every now and then as the company I worked for then had corporate tickets.

He was obsessed with making Chelsea in the game reflect Chelsea in real life. Very difficult. One of the reason why it might be best not managing the team you support!!
