| Wow a clean sweep and Lyon's first win in Europe! Very sad to see Rich go - hopefully he might make a swift return. Will have to work on him... |

| I may have surprised a few managers this week. Last week, due to the problems with the WR processing I had the chance to view every player at a managed club and that resulted in me reviewing some who I felt were under rated. This may have increased their tribvals and caught a couple of you by surprise this week. |

| We seem to have had an issue with NEWs not going through when they should have.
Non-overseas aged under 22 were being valued at 500,000 instead of 250,000, and so some NEWs didnt go through. I'll check through and do them manually for any that got missed out.
manual transfers not on the transferred player list
6693 Rolando Mandragora sn44 Inter 250,000 Lewis Travis Charlton 250,000 Kane Lewis Charlton 250,000 Goncalo Guedes Nantes 1m
the rest seemed to have gone through okay, but let me know if I missed anyone. thanks. |

| Hi Paul,
Thanks for the turn. Have noticed that you have amended some of the WG ratings as you pointed out. One question, which might affect everyone, is how you deal with those who Wg ratings have gone down but are now therefore on significantly more wages than their peers?
Am concerned that suddenly everyone is going to want an increase in wages as ppl have dropped down?
Thanks
Ben |

Ben Ive got the same issue. Will they happily accept a new lower wage? Alot, we all will probably need to change players wages to fit there new WG, is it possible to use the old SET dealing, I think it was, where you can set all your players on the same WG to the same wage? |

| Spent the last few weeks trying to sort Nantes out, so hope the SET dealing doesn't get introduced otherwise I have wasted my time! lol
Happy to share what I was told though....
basically you have 3 options when reducing wages,
1) same/shorterlength lowerwage nosignonfee player takes a morale hit if he accepts, some will accept some wont accept, just depends on CR, higher CRs less likely to accept.
2) same/shorterlength lowerwage signonfee=difference between the 2 contracts, oldlength*oldamount - newlength*newamount or 150,000 whichever is greater, will accept and no loss of morale as you are effectively buying out the old contract.
3) longerlength lowerwage signonfee=value of oldlength*oldamount) + 10*newamount |

| When a player's wage rating goes down you need to offer him a new contract at his lower band. And as Tom says you have a couple of options at that point. Firstly, offer him a new contract and let him suffer a morale drop and secondly offer him a new contract with a signonfee big enough to "buyout" the old contract and no morale drop.
Player's wage ratings normally only go down when they move clubs in real life, or their real life club gets relegated in real life.
Also, don't forget, players at youth academy's for at least 5 weeks are on protected morale and don't mind if you reduce their wages, so no need to 'buyout' their contracts. Same with players who are still in their 'honeymoon' period at the club. ( first 5 weeks ). |
