Several loan deals also go through between managed and unmanaged clubs that were scouted the week before, also nice to see that system working well.

Very happy with Inter sitting on 7 points after a very tough start of Juventus and Roma away and Napoli. With Silva still to come into the team things are looking solid.

Villa conceded their first goal which was disappointing but to score 2 away at a very strong Norwich was positive.

Permanent bids get processed last, still do all the internal stuff atm.

Still processing transfers, taking a long time today, cos I added a draft of new young players to certain areas where they were needed. Currently have 17,000 players on the database of which about 3,000 are now over 36 and in need of changing. Have been slowly working my way through and replacing them since the close season, still got quite a few to do but am getting there. A lot of the new players are going into the better clubs as youngsters in the various leagues but I've tried to avoid taking real life youngsters from clubs that I know people support in real life, like Man United Liverpool and Arsenal. There are normally about 1000 players to replace each season but I reduced the retirement age from 39 to 36 so I have more this season. We need about 15,000 players for all clubs to be populated to their best levels.

Tielemans certainly performed well for a 17 year old last night at the Emirates.

I dunno why but always enjoy watching Arsenal give away a three goal lead, I don't even dislike Wenger's Arsenal, they're a good side, but it must be traditional from back in the days when they were called boring Arsenal and won most of their games 1-0. I know they use to win at Maine Road most seasons 1-0.

I know, it always has a certain amusement to it.  Like you though, I really rate them at the minute, they always play good football, have a lot of pace about them.  Sometimes though they just seem to fall apart.  I remember those George Graham days, hated them then.  Tony Adams permanently had his arm in the air!

I remember those George Graham days, hated them then.  Tony Adams permanently had his arm in the air.  Not sure he'd get away with that nowadays with the old second phase, not interfering aspects of offside?  Don't mind Arsenal so much nowadays as they play good football and have a lot of pace about them, think they are a shoe-in for third place this year.  Always funny to see them fall apart though.

We've had an issue over the last few weeks where player contract lengths weren't being reduced, well I fixed that this week, but in doing so I seem to have created a bigger issue and corrupted some of the wage ratings. I am currently in the process of resetting all the wage ratings to their week 02 value.

In fact I seem to have corrupted most of the wage ratings. Just working on that now. Will resend when done.

Okay I've reset the wage ratings and repaired any damaged morale and i'm just checking to make sure I haven't introduced any more issues and then I'll resend the email turns.

If you have any problems then please let me know before I reset everything for week 4 next friday ( 14th Nov ) cos after I do the reset i wont be able to make any changes to this week's turns and things will be set in stone until the end of week 4.

Did my turn today. Noticed that Vermaelen came up with poor wage but his Wg Rating and wage match up. Morale is superb though so wondering whether this is due to the glitch you mentioned...?

Yeah, the WR wage rating field seems to be badly corrupted on the database atm. Been tryng to fix it all week while I run game 2. Finally gave up today, everytime I reset them the system corrupts them again. Deleted the old WR field and all its calculations.

So Ive added a new WR field and added new processing to handle it. ( Some of the original game code uses no longer supported built-in functions and that's what was causing the problems after the system ran out of memory ). But this now all new code and should behave as expected.

The new code mirrors the old code so the new system should work the same as the system we had in place a few weeks ago, although some of the players WRs may have gone up. WRs have gone up because I've had a chance to review everybody this week ( as Ive been focused on it ) and some players WRs were too low when you consider where they are playing in real life.

Normally I do all my testing on game 2 but I've just run game 2, which means that just this once I will need to test out the new WR system in game 1. Hopefully it wont impact the game 1 schedule.
