Season 24 week 13 processing...

I've just started opening the envelopes.

I have orders from everybody except Chelsea and Inter.

Don't forget that the Next Game Bonus ( NG special action ) is paid regardless of the result.

This has caught a few people out recently on first using the NG code but I have been a bit lenient and returned your money if indeed it was the first time you used the code and you lost last week.

I've started running the pre-league games, they do take awhile and if I can get them all run by tomorrow morning then the league games will kickoff at the usual time of 1000 hours. Will advise if that changes later this evening.

Watford v Plymouth

Undoubtedly the biggest game of the week. Top of the table clash between the two form teams at the moment.  Will the title be decided this week? No, but it will be a massive injection of confidence to the winner.  Ben comes into the game with a great win over Man City, whilst Jamie had a great away win at Chelsea. Both teams deserve to be at the top and this should prove to be a very tight affair.

 Liverpool v Chelsea

Tough game to call with both clubs next to each other just above the dreaded dotted line.  Neither team is in the greatest form at the minute, with Gaz possibly taking his eye off the ball during the last few games?  Liverpool picked up a valuable three points last week in a sensational performance away at Birmingham. Both sides will be extra keen to pick up all the points to keep their heads above water

 Spurs v Birmingham

Another side not in the greatest of form at the minute, Birmingham with the aforementioned result last week face a resurgent team in Spurs who many wouldn't have given a chance at the start of the season.  Many pundits tip for the drop, Spurs currently sit in sixth place defying all the odds. 
Will Rich stick with the new formation or is it time to go back to the tried and trusted.  Only six points off the drop results need to turn and quickly.

 Arsenal v Newcastle

Who would have predicted this at the start of the season?  These two facing off against each other in what is a real 6 pointer and a basement battle.  After an unsure period for the Arsenal fans, Arsene seems to have them playing the football the players can produce.  Talent has never been a problem for the Gunners, it has just been getting them to all play together successfully. 
If it hadn't been for bad luck, Mark wouldn't have had much luck at all. An awful start to the season, the manager has been tied up in other affairs and results have suffered as a consequence.  Although another loss happened last week, Newcastle were the top team in the league, maybe suggesting they are beginning to turn the corner.  Rumours abound on social media that a top TM has been spotted talking to the Newcastle manager in view of a move to St James'....

Man City v Fulham

The rebuilding continues for Geoff and his resurgent Man City side.  Far from out the title race this is a big game to really show their intentions.  Always an entertaining side to watch, the manager has them playing fast exciting football and very tough to beat.
The CHampions line up this week determined to get back into the race for their title. After a great win last week, another few wins will put them firmly back nearer the top after a slow start to the season.  Many were expecting more of a dominant performance in the league, however a raft of new, younger players and a few tweaks in formation have meant that ground has been conceded early on.  However, saying all that, only 8 points from the top, still in the FA cup and soon to line up in the quarter finals of the big one, suggest that there is still plenty in the season for them to make it a success.

Same formation, different tactics.....Trying something completely different in the cup so an experimental week really!
