that's very strange isn't it, another smack on our wrists from Fifa, and no France, no portugal, no Holland in the seeds either, makes me laugh sometimes. Instead of traditional better sides they have Colombia and Belgium.
if you look at the current ranking list it has argentina, columbia, uruquay and brazil down in 8th maybe fifa thinks that "looks good".
the top seeded sides, like spain, germany, italy and argentina, cant be very happy about it either, knowing they may end up in a group with england, holland, portugal or france.
still, as Rob says, you gotta beat the best to win it, and let's face it, we actually got to get there first.
