this is insanely close this season, I was just reading Tom's excellent article on the up coming fixtures, great work Tom, made great reading, and I see you've snuck fairly quietly into third place, waiting on the shoulder to pounce I see But seriously guys well done it's been an immense season so far, by far and away the best I can remember.

exciting stuff in Spain that's for sure, Real slipping a bit behind this week and yet to play Betis at home and Valencia twice. Barca have to play Betis next week at home then Valencia also at home. Whilst Betis have to play Real and Barca away and Valencia at home. So it wont be easy for any of the top three and still all to play for here. Good luck guys.

John Simmons is the Valencia manager, long time manager, and no pushover, he has had a bout of bad health lately and not been able to send in his turns, but he's on the mend now and his last three turns have all resulted in wins for Valencia by 2-0, 3-0 and 3-1, so don't think they will be a pushover, he wont win it but he told me yesterday he will have a big say it where the title ends up having to play Betis once, Barca once and Real twice in his last 6 games. He is very excited about it and I am very proud to say that my little game and the enthusiasm of you guys seems to have helped him through a very tough time. So thanks for that.

We will stick at it but tbh I think our chance has probably gone now. Was always going to be a big transition season here at Plymouth and I think early season results have cost us as we tried to bed in a number of new players. You never know though.

Massive result at Lyon though and losing pace with the top of the table!

It's been an amazing season in Spain, with crunch time still to come. Part 1 today, which I have to say I wasn't expecting a Barca win. That changes the equation in that two draws at the big two are no longer guaranteed to be enough.... Betis have to win at the Nou Camp, or rely on a favour from Valencia
