| I would have played CAT this week had cullers form not been poor.
I hate the fact that iv been going away from home with 4 forwards, way too attacking and am looking to rectify this asap |

| Ive replayed this game a few times with Fulham BW replaced by DY to see if that improves your win chances but it doesnt, the game still ends up 0-0. |

| playing CAT with DY instead of BW would have netted Fulham a 1-0 away win. |

| Interesting Paul, with Robben as a TM is there a way of holding him back so he plays from an ever so slightly deeper role to get the ball from his AM in tighter situations
I have tried the SUP command before with pienaar, it did work quite well I think or is that just because pienaar is a more suitable TM than Robben?

In terms of a new additional to how to use TM I would welcome MIX as at the moment unless I put SUP on Rooney its just him and Essien who really get into the game at all, limiting the need for other players around him.
One question I do have though is why he has been so ineffective in the past few games (12 goals scored by my team in the league is an indication of this - should this not have been more given his quality and if so why hasn't he?)
Thanks
Ben cant really comment on past games as i dont have the match reports to look at but he may have been man-marked or other players he relied on to create space were marked. One thing i would say is that Stevie Ireland may be a better foil for Rooney than Nasri cos Nasri is more of a dribbler and greedier than Ireland. A team of stars is not always the best combination, there has to be some "water carriers" in the team as well. Rooney will be fit next week and it'll be interesting to see how he plays alongside whoever you choose to play at DLDR. |

| I think the problem is Paul, after last weeks Rvp roasting where I left the middle of the park wide open with no BW, playing AM DY seems too open hence the AM BW
I know CAT is meant to be AM DY but would it screw the tactic up if I played AM BW ? Or is that being just too cautious ? |

most of the time he did step back to receive the ball and i only see one occasion when Jagielka had to play a long ball to find him, he should be clever enough to do that on his own. But if you find it is a problem use the "GET" command. |

Or is that being just too cautious ? yes you are right I tried playing AMDY and it made no difference to the match in any great sense. CAT is a fixed formation you should play GK LBCLCRRB LHAMDYRH TMCF else it wont work properly. Robben is very clever though and if you do choose to play BW instead of DY he might be able to make it work okay, worth a try maybe against Westham or Reading or Blackburn to see how it goes. |

Will, seems as though our initial discussions surrounding the game were probably right then.
Thanks Paul as ever -fantastic insight into everything! |

it has made a difference to your STs visibility as he has visible for each cross that came into the box. So I'd say that was working okay. As well as adding the BIg command Ive also made the more intelligent players do a BIG command on their own, so the better strikers will automatically make themselves BIG when crosses are coming over, but if you want to make sure you can still use BIG.
You only had 2 crosses in the game against Chelsea but Gyan was visible for both of them but tbh I did miss putting BIG in as his command, I guess it was because i was in such a rush yesterday, apologies for that, but he seems to have been intelligent enough to do it for himself, so in the end it was a good test. |

there weren't so many goals this week for sure but alot of the top sides were playing away from home this week so it is hard to say definitively. Still we had good high scoring away wins for Real Madrid, Barcelona and Schalke. Bayern got 6 at home and Monaco got 4 at home, so still plenty of goals about outside the Premiership. |

I guess SUP on Nasri could be an potential option then to lower his greediness and make him pass more to Rooney (although he is out for the next 2 weeks so one to potentially try after that)? Thanks Ben |

| Santos lost this week after I reviewed Anderson Dede and drafted him into the team. Playing LKCLCRRK DLDYDR STTMS2 away from home is not a good idea I should really know that but thought I might get away with it against a weak Portuguesa side, not to be though. Should of played with ALDYAR in midfield really. |
