| Lyon 3 Marseille 1 Jonathan Biabiany pulls one back for the away side on 84 minutes, buts its too little too late by the looks of the game so far. |

| OK. Cavani and Higuain are for the hair dryer after the Inter game. And what are Di Maria and Ribery doing? Has Ronaldo eaten everyone just to maintain his body weight? |

| Inter are still losing at home to Cagliari but Inter have dominated play so far and created a host of chances only to be thwarted by an outstanding performance from Cagliari keeper Marco Storari. Cagliari seem to have gone into defensive mode as well to try and protect their one goal lead, it doesnt look good for Inter, but they havent lost hope yet with Edinson Cavani in superb form and having a great game they could still get back into it. |

| Nantes 3-0 Toulouse Leandro with his hatrick this time on 85 minutes with a header to put the game to bed and give Nantes a fine win. |

| Feyenoord 1 Breda 0 and a goal from Christian Eriksen on 89 minutes looks set to give Will's feeder club a well earned victory. |

| Brilliant, thanks Paul.
Happy with a draw away to Jamie and a hattrick for Damiao, just need him to move to England now...

| Brilliant stuff paul, that was awesome entertainment
Delighted with an away point from Maine road but even more so with that long awaited clean sheet, can't wait to read the tail of the tape.
Another good win for feyanoord as they continue to climb

| Lets go to the big shock of the day first, where Cagliari won at Inter Milan.
Our roving reporter at the game today is John Motson,
"Welcome to something of a depressed stadium here today, where the Inter fans saw their side dominate their less gifted opponents but just couldn't score. Not for the first time Inter have had this problem. Cavani was undoubtedly man of the match Fabio Coentrao not very far behind, and they created ten chances to Cagliari's two and they should really have got the three points."
"As for Cagliari, well, they relied almost entirely on their goalkeeper, Marco Storari, who was exceptional today, and when it came down to the wire, Ronaldo took his goal well on the half hour mark after a mazy dribble from D'Agostino had set him up and left him with nothing more to do than simply knock the ball over the line, for what proved to be the winner."
"Inter will go on to better things i'm sure, but Cagliari may struggle to repeat this sort of result in this sort of place again in the future." |

| It's just one of those days where the ball doesn't get over the line. We've created a lot of chances and dominated the game but lack the ruthless streak to put away teams like Cagliari. Hugo Lloris might get his chance in goal if he can prove himself in the Cup games and up front it's a case of finding the correct partner for Cavani or looking at how he does on his own. I'm pleased that we've dominated the game and played well but chances must be converted. Barry Fry has just arrived at the ground to address the team ........ |

| Well, we've heard from the Fulham boss already, who seemed very happy with the days events, so now lets go over to our roving reporter at Maine Road to see what he thought, come in Stuart Hall.
"United have the Theatre of Dreams while here at Maine Road we have the Theatre of Nightmares, where again City faile..." ( loud gunshot goes off )...
Come in Stuart, are you there...( silence for awhile )
Oh dear it seems that we've lost Stuart, but not to worry, that's no great loss, we'll continue without him ( sounds of ambulance arriving ).
( Gary Owen picks up the mic as he toe ends Stuart Hall's lifeless body out of the way)
"Fulham we're excellent today and they frustrated City's attempts to get any rythm in the game, with Wilson Palacios man of the match from James Milner who also played excellently well in midfield, where Gareth Barry struggled all day."
"Adam johnson and Shaun Wright-Phillips were both potent on the wings but Chelsea offcast Didier Drogba got no joy all afternoon and even Frank Lampard looked below par as Milner and Palacios bossed City around." |

| Breaking news, before the Fulham players had even boarded the bus to go home, the Manchester City boss had agreed a deal to sign Georgios Samaras from Fulham for £5millions. But as usual geoff is unavailable to comment. Could this be the end of the line for Drogba ? |

| More breaking news, Bayern have signed Heiko Westermann from Schalke and have transfer listed Per Mertesacker, which should interest a few english clubs. |

| Not happy with a 1-1 draw with Reading echoes of last season, very poor start, draw with the whipping boys (boro) then start to claw back and end up 3rd. A repeat would be nice. Happy that Kun got a goal on his debut, think Scott Parker was a big miss today, need to kick on from here! |
