Have a read of this, obviously as an Everton fan this means a lot to me.

I think the article below is an eye opener to any football club trying to compete in the Premier league. I really fear for Everton i really do, we could be on the verge of collapse and amongst all the doom and gloom it shows what a great job David Moyes and his team have done over the years.

Thoughts?

Surely at some point in the near future clubs have to say enough is enough and player wages have to start going down ? else clubs are going to go bust, even big clubs like Everton who can generate large amounts of income. God help our wonderful football if things dont change.

its already started to happen outside of the premiership.

most clubs outside the premiership are now gearing up to a more frugle future and operating within their means, being a derby fan im more than aware of this as this is all we have been doing for the last 3 years or so, next one to watch is forest.

I agree Paul, ive hated this year as an Evertonian but am very respectful of the Job Moyesie has done. A lot of fans are turning on him which i will never do.

I will go through anything not to go through the Walter Smith era again where it saw us sign David Ginola and Paul Gascoigne!

I am officially worried about football though and the gap int he premiership will be huge in about 4-5 years. We can only hope something changes this for the better.
